Intedco is a consulting firm founded by Dr. Gil Fonthal (President and CEO), who has been in higher education for over 25 years. He has vast, recognized experience as an educator, researcher, and consultant in several universities in the United States and South America.
Intedco is a global consulting firm embedded within a multicultural environment. Its headquarters is located in Southern California. It was created to bring together educational experts concerned about the impact of globalization upon local communities and especially on higher education institutions.

Dr. Nancy Christensen
Nancy Christensen, Ed.D. - Dr. Christensen is Program Coordinator for the CSU/UCI regional doctorate in Educational Administration and Leadership offered through a partnership among the University of California, Irvine and four California State Universities (Fullerton, Long Beach, Los Angeles, and Pomona). In this capacity she has responsibility for developing, implementing, and monitoring policy and procedures to serve the interests and requirements of two university systems (UC and CSU) and five campuses. Her duties include participating in the development of curriculum for doctoral courses, coordinating recruitment, selection, and admission. She also acts as liaison with other university departments and schools and with system level administrators on major issues impacting programmatic progress. Dr. Christensen has an extensive background in developing and evaluating after school programs and university mentoring programs. Her research work focuses on the impact of undergraduate volunteers on Latino elementary students’ expectations for higher education. Her evaluation work has included studies of the internationally-recognized program Teacher Expectations Student Achievement (TESA), the Los Angeles Child Care Training Institute (Los Angeles County Office of Education), the UC Links After School Computer Clubs, the UCI outreach program Humanities Out There (HOT) at Bowers Museum, and impact of videoconference trainings on targeted audiences. She has designed, delivered, supervised, and evaluated workshops and videoconference trainings for administrators, teachers and teacher candidates, and university students.

Albert Ortiz M. - Albert is a bilingual professional in the field of health sciences who specialized in forensic psychiatry at the City University of New York (CUNY). He has also specialized in the area of English Language and Bilingualism (US Fed Gov Title 17) at Columbia University of New York. Albert has a vast 18-year experience as a university professor at the undergraduate and graduate levels. He has held administrative posts, as well as advisory positions where he has been required to write projects and grant proposals for government and non-government organizations. His proven experience in scientific writing, proof-reading, and presentation preparation have allowed him to serve as advisor for Graduate and Doctoral theses for a number of universities (Notre Dame, Ohio State, UCSD, CUNY, Universidad del Valle). Albert is an advisor for the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) in its international program with Colombia’s Universidad Nacional. He has participated as text translator for a number of publications, publishers, and universities like: Louisiana Tech, UNAM in Mexico, Universidad Autónoma de Occidente, Universidad del Valle, Universidad Nacional de Colombia at Manizales. Currently, Albert is an external advisor for the Department of Physics’ Thin Film Research group at the Universidad del Valle, where his expertise has contributed in the successful publication of scientific research articles in international indexed journals, as well as in supporting a number of research proposals.
